Dr. Glasser Recognized for 50 Years of Practicing Medicine

On October 8, 2014, at their Annual Meeting, The Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians presented Dr. Morton Glasser, a Family Physician from
Willimantic the CAFP Award of Excellence.  This meeting and presentation took place at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT. At this event, Dr.Glasser was recognized for practicing Family Medicine for over 50 years. Dr. Glasser pictured here with represetatives of Generations' Management Team at the luncheon.

Staff Celebrating 30 Years of Caring for Community

In honor of Generations' 30th Birthday, as a thank you, Managers serve lunch to staff at our All-Site Meeting: 30 Years of Caring for the Community.

Generations' Medical Dept. at Third Thursday in June!

 

 

Generations Family Health Center's Willimantic Medical Department had a booth at the Third Thursday Street Festival in downtown Willimantic on June 19, 2014.  Visitors to the booth received information on National Men's Health Month and lots of  give-aways including jump ropes, frisbees and sunscreen.  Join our Health Education Department at July's Third Thursday Street Festival on July 24th!

 

 

Peridot Foundation Donates to Generations!

On June 19, 2014, Arvind Shaw, Generations Family Health Center’s CEO greets Gail Hughes, President of the Peridot Foundation. The Peridot Foundation recently gave a grant to Generaitons’ Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs program.

 

 

Nancy Quimby's Retirement Celebration!

Staff, Board Members, Community Partners, Patients and others who have worked with Nancy Quimby came together on June 12, 2014 to celebrate her retirement. Nancy was the first employee hired 29 ½ years ago. Many spoke about Nancy’s many achievements over the years, her compassion and commitment to the patients as well as to the healthcare field as they enjoyed appetizers and cake.

Putnam Site 30th Anniversary Community Celebration!

 

Generations Family Health Center's Putnam Staff kicked off our
30th Anniversary Celebrations by giving back to the Community of
Putnam. The staff recently donated and planted a garden at Union Square
on Main Street in Putnam. It was their way of showing how we "Care for
the Community!"
