DESCRIPTION:PURPOSE OF THE GROUP: This group will teach SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) skills to young children through art and play. \nWHO IS INVITED?\n• Participants must be 4th graders\n• Putnam Public School students\n• 8 person maximum \nWHEN:\nThursdays 2:00-2:45 p.m.\n6 weeks\, September 28 to November 2\, 2023\nNo new members accepted for this session after the 1st week \nWHERE:\nGenerations Family Health Center\nPutnam School-Based Health Center\nPutnam Middle School 35 Wicker Street\, Putnam \nLEARNING OBJECTIVES:\n• Learn emotional regulation and expression skills\n• Build communication skills\n• Improve engagement with peers \nCOST: Medicaid and most private insurances accepted. Not insured? You may qualify for a discounted rate\, please ask about our Sliding Fee Scale program when you register. \nREGISTRATION: Registration is required in the School-Based Health Center as well as for this group.
