Depression and Anxiety Support Group For Teens

PURPOSE OF THE GROUP:

This Depression and Anxiety Support Group for Teens offers local teens with general depression
and anxiety a place to talk with others who are going through similar struggles and gather support as
well as new coping skills to manage daily challenges.

WHO IS INVITED?
• Any child between ages 12-17 with depression and/or anxiety that is able to attend an in-person
meeting
• Limited to 8 persons
• Open to all genders, patients of Generations,
as well as those not patients of Generations.
• If you are already a patient of Generations
(medical, dental or behavioral health), your
Generations clinician can help you with a referral
to the group.
• If you are not a patient of Generations, your
clinician can refer you.

Wednesday 2:00 to 3:00 pm
From June 19 through August 28, 2024

• Coping skills for depression and anxiety
• Reduce isolation
• Get support with achieving personal goals
• Practice social skills to reduce overall depression
and anxiety

COST:
Medicaid and most private insurances accepted.
Not insured? You may qualify for a discounted rate.
