SOCIAL SKILLS THERAPY GROUP

WHAT IS THE FOCUS OF THE GROUP?
The social skills group is a skill-oriented group focusing on providing various social skills to children between ages 9-14 to assist them in developing meaningful relationships. This group will explore different types of social skills such as communication, boundaries, verbal/non-verbal cues, problem solving, emotion identification and ways to connect with others.
TOPICS COVERED:
- Coping skills
- Emotional identification
- Communication skills
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
- Open to everyone, Generations’ patients and non-patients
- Ages 9-14, (based on developmental appropriateness determined by group leaders)
WHEN:
Wednesdays, 3:00 – 4:00 pm
April 29- July 15, 2026
Note: Snacks and drinks provided at each session

COST/PAYMENT:
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance plans, and patients without insurance. Contact your insurance company to confirm coverage,or call our office to discuss your options. If you’re uninsured or need financial assistance, ask about our Sliding Fee Scale program to see if you qualify for a reduced rate. Rates are available upon request and can be provided before registration.
