Mobile Health Unit Dental Services At Schools
BRINGING DENTAL SERVICES TO YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL
Generations Family Health Center offers a Mobile Health Unit that visits enrolled schools to provide dental services for your child during school hours, on school premises, in fully-equipped dental exam rooms on the unit.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE SERVICES?
Any student enrolled at a school scheduled for a visit from the Mobile Health Unit is eligible to receive services. This includes both current dental patients of Generations Family Health Center and those who wish to become new dental patients.
WHAT SERVICES WILL BE OFFERED
Dental:
- Preventative Oral Health Care, including:
- Exams
- Caries Assessments
- Cleanings
- Fluoride treatments and sealants
- Oral Health Education

Please note: Once you have scheduled an appointment you will be required to complete paperwork to have your child seen.
Payment:
- We accept Medicaid/HUSKY and most private insurance plans
- A sliding fee scale available based on income and family size
- We will see you even if you do not have insurance
- We can help with applying for HUSKY and other insurance options
Staff:
Our Mobile Health Unit is staffed by a compassionate team who provide preventative oral healthcare and oral health education. Staff will have access to our electronic medical record system that supports clinical management and patient documentation

SCHOOL OFFICIALS INTERESTED IN GENERATIONS MOBILE UNIT COMING TO THEIR SCHOOL TO PROVIDE DENTAL CARE:
We are interested in partnering with schools in eastern CT to provide dental services to your students on-site at the school during school hours. We will need space to park our 44-foot van equipped with dental operatories where the dental hygiene services will be provided to students whose parents/guardians request an appointment and complete enrollment paperwork.
